Pamela G. Jacobson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Executive Director
Pamela G. Jacobson is the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit Hand in Hand Family & Child Development Center. She holds a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Washington in Seattle and has 18 years experience treating the communication disorders of children with speech, language, motor, attention and sensory processing difficulties utilizing a team, family-centered approach to address the needs of the whole child.
Jacobson maintains active membership in the American Speech Hearing and Language Association and The California Speech Hearing and Language Association. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Coalition for Children with Special Needs in Pasadena and the vendor advisory committee for the North Los Angeles Regional Center.
Jacobson is a frequent guest speaker at local colleges, statewide professional conferences, schools and parenting groups, where she speaks on the topics of speech and language development and intervention, Early Intervention, and the team approach to therapeutic services.
Jacobson was named one of 2004’s "40 under 40" by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal for outstanding contributions to the community by a business professional under the age of 40, and is also one of 2005’s recipients of the Outstanding Achievement Award presented by the California Speech & Hearing Association.
